Abstract. This article consists of 2 parts, in which a brief analysis of the literature devoted to the study of the stress-strain state of shallow tunnels under the action of dynamic forces is carried out, conclusions are presented based on the analysis of the literature. Wave dynamics methods make it possible to solve a number of plane problems on stress concentrations in a half-plane or space. However, ignoring the viscoelastic properties of the environment when calculating underground structures for seismic effects can lead to serious errors.
