Abstract. The present article discusses the need for restructuring business processes in international companies to improve competitiveness. Concepts such as "business processes", "competitiveness" and "international competitiveness" are dealt with. The types of enterprises for which the use of restructuring is necessary and expedient are taken into consideration. Positive changes in the organization when using the restructuring are noted. The specificities of business processes for which the restructuring is being carried out are shown as well. Furthermore, the main stages of the implementation of the restructuring are presented.
